ECP-0051: Direct Publish Answer Timeout Control

Why

ec-node direct-publish is used for "send a link to someone and have them connect later". A hard-coded short answer timeout makes this brittle and fails the "works for mom" usability bar.

Decision

  • Add --answer-timeout-secs to ec-node direct-publish.
  • Default: 900 seconds (15 minutes).
  • 0 means wait indefinitely.

Reversibility

High. CLI-only behavior change.
